Always Bet On Black

Black is the new black and our favorite Brown designers show us how to do it right:

Cameron rocking Rachel Roy...

Zoe always wears Prabal Gurung well...

Padma Lakshmi looks ravishing in Naeem Khan..

Padma & Naeem

Black had also swept over Bollywood and was recently on display at Karan Johar's party:

Bipasha kept it sexy...

Anushka went for a darker, edgier look...

Nargis was chic with diamonds to match...

Sonkshi's cut-out dress & red lippy were
geisha-esque perfection...

But NEHA took best dressed in  one of our fave
designer duos GAURI & NAINIKA

BBA Fashion Wrap Up

So, this week's wrap up was looking a little dull until 1) Kajol stepped out at Shantanu and Nikhil's store launch and 2) Freida made hearts skip a beat at her Tribeca screening of Trishna. Ummmm... I know y'all are a little tired of hearing about my love for Freida but I'm not stopping. SHE KILLED IT. It's a wrap.

Freida in Gucci with Fendi baguette. Perfection down to the butterfly! If this is the work of her stylist George, then he is genius.

Kajol looks stunning in Shantanu & Nikhil. She just needs to find the right (and better) foundation.

Shraddha Kapoor deserves a mention for her Dolce & Gabbana look & Padma is just FIERCE.

BBA Picks: Naeem Khan Fall 2012

Naeem Khan did it again but this time he went there. In what seemed like divine intervention, I was able to witness one of my all time favorites deliver a collection that will make Naeem Khan a global name in fashion. A collection inspired by India but with the color palette of blacks, nudes and metallics, each piece looked intricately put together, and as it came down the runway it continued to stunned audiences. The collection was a deliberate departure for Khan, who wanted to showcase his talents off the red carpet. But as he jet sets to LA after his show, no doubt the stylists will be clamoring to get their hands on these. You can read more of my review here.
